Choose the exact size

Each file is made at one of these exact resolutions. Pick the same lab size so the artwork fills the frame without cropping or stretching:

  • 12×16: 3600×4800 pixels — choose 12×16 inches.
  • 18×24: 5400×7200 pixels — choose 18×24 inches.
  • 24×36: 7200×10800 pixels — choose 24×36 inches.
  • A2: 4961×7016 pixels — choose A2 (420×594 mm, or 16.54×23.39 inches).

If the upload screen offers crop, fit, or fill controls, keep the whole image visible and turn off automatic cropping.

Paper and frame

A matte or lustre finish keeps reflections quiet and suits the fine stars and type. For framing, a simple black or natural-wood frame lets the map stay the focus.
